Data controller

What we collect
We collect only the information you choose to submit through the enquiry form on this site:
- Full name
- Business email address
- Company or organisation name (optional)
- Position or job title (optional)
- Phone or WhatsApp number (optional)
- Industry (optional)
- Enquiry subject and the content of your message
We also record the time of submission, a one-way hashed form of your IP address, and your browser user-agent string. The IP address is hashed so it cannot be reversed; it exists solely to detect and block automated abuse of the form and is not used to identify or profile you.
Legal basis and purpose
We process this data on the basis of your explicit consent, given by ticking the consent box before submitting the enquiry form. Consent is not pre-selected and the form cannot be submitted without it.
The purpose is limited to responding to your enquiry, arranging any follow-up discussion you request, and maintaining a record of that correspondence. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Marketing
We do not add enquiry contacts to a marketing list, and we do not send unsolicited marketing email. If we ever introduce a marketing programme, it will require separate, specific opt-in consent.
Sharing and transfers
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. Data is accessible only to Magnova personnel who need it in order to respond to your enquiry.
We use a small number of processors to operate this website and deliver enquiry notifications. Each is bound by a data processing agreement and may process data only on our instructions. Where a processor stores data outside Indonesia, we rely on contractual safeguards for that transfer.
Retention
Enquiry records are retained for 24 months from the date of last contact, after which they are deleted. If a commercial relationship results from the enquiry, the associated records are retained under the terms of that relationship instead.
Security
Data is transmitted over TLS and stored in an access-controlled database. Administrative access requires authentication and is limited to named personnel. We review access periodically.
If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to create a risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority within 3 × 24 hours, as required by UU PDP No. 27/2022.
Your rights
Under UU PDP No. 27/2022 you have the right to:
- Obtain information about the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed
- Access and obtain a copy of that data
- Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Request erasure or destruction of your data
- Object to processing, and restrict processing in certain circumstances
- Request that your data be transferred to another controller
- Seek compensation for a violation of your rights under the law
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@magnova.id. We will respond within 3 × 24 hours of receiving a verifiable request, in line with the statutory period. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant Indonesian supervisory authority.
Children
This website is directed at business and public sector organisations. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact privacy@magnova.id and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change to how we handle personal data, we will update this page and revise the effective date shown above. Where the change affects data already collected under your consent, we will seek fresh consent.
